Lush Halloween Gift Boxes
These packaging designs came from my idea to give the gift boxes a second life as an interactive toy house/ ghost train.
The design for both boxes was inspired by nostalgic, retro halloween imagery.
This gift box was so much fun to design. A mad monster party full of colour and wild characters. I really enjoyed coming up with ideas of who should be peaking out of the various different windows and I ended up creating a party I really want to be invited to! The illustrations were inspired by retro 90s cartoons. I would love to make a book out of these characters. The neon Pantone colours and holographic foil really made this box extra special!
Monster House - Lush Halloween Gift 2023
This packaging design was inspired by retro 80/ 90s fun fair rides, the ghost train in particular. I created illustrations for this sliding drawer box that had the effect of characters riding past the windows on the ride when you open and close the box. This is one of my favourite projects I worked on for Lush - I loved creating such a playful, illustrative box design with classic halloween characters and vibrant colour.
